Welcome to the St George and St Teresa Parish website

Monsignor McHugh

 Welcome to the website of St George and St Teresa, Dorridge. This is the most sacred time in the life of the Church each year: Holy Week and Easter. We celebrate Palm Sunday, the Last Supper on Holy Thursday, and commemorate the Passion and Death of Our Lord on Good Friday. Then we celebrate the Resurrection  of Jesus on Holy Saturday night and Easter Sunday.

If you are thinking of coming to the Church for one of the ceremonies, the list and times are below. You will be very welcome to attend any or all of them. If you are not able to be with us please be assured of our prayers.

I wish a Blessed and Happy Easter to all visitors to this website.

New Church Bell at St George and St Teresa Church

The new Bell at St. George and St. Teresa – called “Francis”
after the new Pope – will ring for the first time on Easter Sunday.
The Bell – cast to mark the Year of Faith in 2013 – has the
following words on it “Come Ring Out Our Joy to the Lord”;
very appropriate as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus !
